Position: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our collaborative healthcare team. Clinic Hours:

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Role Highlights:

• 100% outpatient care

• Manage patients of all ages with a variety of behavioral health conditions

• 35 patient hours and 5 administrative hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations and assessments appropriate for patient age

• Establish medical history and patient care plans in consultation with supervising physicians

• Provide counseling and patient education regarding preventive care, medications, and behavioral health

• Participate in clinic staff meetings and other clinic-related projects as directed

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Training and experience in PMHNP specialty

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Knowledge of behavioral health concepts, specialty treatments, and community resources

• Commitment to maintaining continuing medical education requirements for licensure

Requirements:

• Board certification in PMHNP specialty

• Valid license in the State of Indiana and current DEA licensure / prescriptive authority post-hire

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; prior experience in a community health center preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Spanish language skills preferred but not required
