What You’ll Be Doing Support site development design (grading, drainage, erosion control, layout) Assist with geotechnical investigations, including field work and soil analysis Be on‑site for drilling activities and field inspections—learn how projects come to life Help prepare soil boring logs and contribute to geotechnical reports Work with senior engineers on foundation design inputs (drilled shafts, shallow foundations, etc.) Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, and electrical teams on real‑world infrastructure projects Assist in preparing calculations, reports, and engineering documentation Participate in site visits and learn constructability considerations firsthand Gain exposure to industry standards, safety practices, and QA/QC processes What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 0–2 years of experience (internships and co‑ops absolutely count) Interest in both civil site design and geotechnical engineering Strong work ethic, curiosity, and willingness to learn Why This Role Stands Out True entry‑level opportunity – no full‑time experience required Hands‑on learning with field + design exposure Work on meaningful energy and infrastructure projects Direct mentorship from experienced engineers Relocation assistance available for candidates outside the Columbus area Clear path for growth and long‑term career development If you’re looking for a role where you can build real technical skills, get into the field, and grow quickly—this is it.
