Assistant Project Manager & Leasing Coordinator
Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), which now includes Project Management Advisors (PMA), is seeking an Assistant Project Manager & Leasing Coordinator to join our Life Sciences team in San Francisco.
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA.
The Opportunity
An opportunity for a highly organized and proactive real estate professional who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, collaborating with brokers, clients, and project teams, and supporting the delivery of complex life sciences leasing, development, and construction projects.
At Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), we lead the planning, development, and management of the places that shape and strengthen communities—where people live, learn, work, and innovate. B&D partners with institutions, municipalities, and organizations to deliver complex real estate and capital projects through strategic advisory and program management services across the full project lifecycle.
B&D recently joined forces with Project Management Advisors (PMA), bringing together two nationally recognized leaders in program management and real estate advisory services. Together, the combined firm offers expanded capabilities across industries and end-to-end project delivery—from early-stage strategy through design, construction, and occupancy.
Our Life Sciences team supports the development, leasing, and delivery of laboratory, research, and biotech facilities across the country. We work closely with owners, developers, tenants, brokers, and project teams to deliver technically complex environments that support innovation and scientific discovery.
As an Assistant Project Manager & Leasing Coordinator, you will support both leasing and project management efforts by coordinating pre-lease activities, managing critical project documentation, assisting with design and construction planning, and serving as a key point of coordination among clients, brokers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
How You'll Contribute
- Support life sciences leasing and project management initiatives from early-stage planning through project completion
- Collaborate with clients, brokers, consultants, and project teams to facilitate successful leasing and development efforts
- Maintain organized deal files, including proposals, RFPs, lease documentation, drawings, budgets, schedules, and due diligence materials
- Gather, organize, and maintain critical building documentation, including BOMA reports, building system matrices, as-built drawings, utility information, and other property records
- Assist with project-specific tasks required to meet client expectations and contractual obligations
- Support planning and analysis of conceptual design issues, space planning efforts, and pre-construction activities
- Assist with test fits, programming exercises, block plans, and preliminary tenant space planning requirements
- Review and coordinate lease documentation, consultant agreements, and related transaction materials
- Support lease negotiations and transaction processes by coordinating information and documentation between stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project budgets and milestone schedules, while identifying and communicating potential risks or changes
- Coordinate meetings, site walks, and stakeholder engagement activities involving clients, brokers, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Document project meetings, maintain action item logs, and track follow-up items through completion
- Assist with project closeout activities and documentation management
- Communicate critical project information to stakeholders in a timely, professional, and organized manner
