Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education (CO SPED) license required
• Experience working with K-8th grade students preferred
• Proficiency in adapting curriculum and instruction for diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to write and implement IEPs and document student progress
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of special education students, providing direct instruction and support within both resource and general education settings
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
• Deliver evidence-based instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
