Shape the future of young learners as a Special Education Teacher in the vibrant community near Commerce City, CO! This contract position offers a fulfilling opportunity to support students in grades K-8, delivering individualized education plans to help each student achieve success. With a manageable caseload, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team of educators and specialists.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Special Education license required
- Experience working with K-8 students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to a variety of learning needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse abilities in both group and one-on-one settings
- Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Conduct progress monitoring and adjust strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $57.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
