Prosegur Security is looking for Unarmed Security Officers in the Broward FL area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world consisting of over 160,000 employees in over 30 countries. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization.

Shifts include:

• Afternoons
• Mon-Thurs
• 1200pm-0900pm
• 35 hours per week
• Hourly starting wage: $18.50/HR

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid Security Guard License
• Must have one (2) year of experience as a security officer
• Must have one (2) year of experience in Customer Service
• Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good communication skills
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs daily.
• Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior

Certification Requirements:

• Unarmed Security License
• D- License

Education Requirements:
