.Remote Data Abstractor (Epic)OverviewSeeking experienced Data Abstractors with hands-on Epic EMR experience to support clinical data abstraction. This role focuses on accurately abstracting future orders, patient histories, and PAMI (Pre-Admission Medication Information) into Epic from various legacy EHR systems. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily productivity and quality measures.Responsibilities:Abstract and enter data into Epic with high accuracyReview patient charts and extract:Future orders (labs, imaging, procedures)Patient histories (medical, surgical, social, family)PAMI/medication reconciliation dataEnsure data quality, completeness, and adherence to project standardsMeet productivity and accuracy targets; submit daily productivity reports in project trackerFlag discrepancies and communicate with project leads and QA leadsMaintain HIPAA compliance at all timesRequired Qualifications:Proven Epic EMR experiencePrior healthcare data abstraction experienceExperience abstracting future orders, histories, and PAMI dataStrong knowledge of clinical terminology and workflowsIntermediate (or higher) Microsoft Excel skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work independentlyPreferred:Clinical background (RN, LPN, MA, etc.)Epic go-live or data migration experienceExposure to modules such as Orders, ClinDoc, Ambulatory, ASAPAdvanced/Expert Microsoft Excel skillsDetails:100% RemoteType: Contract (40 hours/week)Hours: Ideally during EST business hours Mon-Fri; some overtime may be permittedDuration: TBD (multiple contract opportunities throughout 2026)Must have secure workspace and reliable internet#HCITType: ContractCategory: Solutions DeliveryDate Posted: CSI Companies Inc Defunct
