Clinical Nurse Main Or Seasonal Pool - Single Sro

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced OR Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team.

BayCare offers seasonal 1326-week assignments -assigned O.R - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.

Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS is required.
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• 18 months RN experience in an acute OR setting is required
• 2 years RN experience in an acute OR setting is strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Flexibility
