Senior Facility Maintenance Technician

Description The Stroum Jewish Community Center is looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Facility Maintenance Technician to help keep our campus safe, functional, and welcoming for our community. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with building systems, and taking ownership of day-to-day facility operations. You’ll partner closely with the Facility Manager while also working independently—especially during evening and Sunday coverage—to ensure everything runs smoothly. What You’ll Do Support daily building operations and maintenance across SJCC facilities Perform routine inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Troubleshoot and complete maintenance repairs safely and efficiently Assist with preventative maintenance to keep systems running smoothly Complete general repairs including carpentry, painting, and light construction Support facility improvement projects and upgrades Coordinate with vendors and contractors on-site Respond to maintenance requests and manage work orders Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Assist with upkeep of exterior spaces and grounds Participate in on-call coverage as needed Why Join SJCC?
