Dining Services Team Member

The Lutheran Home is seeking a friendly and courteous team member to join our Dining Services team within our retirement community. Guided by our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, this role helps support a positive dining experience for residents by assisting with dining room service and helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining environment.

Available Schedule:

• Typical schedule is approximately 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Approximately 15+ hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule required

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting and welcoming residents and guests
• Assisting in keeping dining room areas clean and organized
• Rolling silverware
• Bussing tables in resident dining areas
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assisting with dishwashing duties as needed
• Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Working collaboratively with dining services staff and assisting as needed to support daily operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous hostess or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to provide courteous and professional service to residents and guests
