Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional and psychological well-being to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Facilitate individual therapy sessions targeting a wide spectrum of mental health issues across various age groups. Lead couples therapy sessions to enhance communication skills, resolve conflicts, and foster healthier relationships. Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on clients' progress, ensuring they meet their evolving needs. Document all client interactions accurately, maintaining comprehensive records of treatment plans and progress notes while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. Demonstrate efficacy in delivering therapy through digital platforms while ensuring a secure and confidential therapeutic environment. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing acute distress. Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on best practices in marriage and family therapy. Advocate for clients' rights and well-being, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment. Encourage self-care practices both for clients and yourself to maintain resilience against burnout. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and couples from various backgrounds. Your caseload may include children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting unique challenges that require tailored interventions. The clinic’s emphasis on inclusivity ensures that you will encounter clients from differing socio-economic backgrounds, making your role vital in dismantling barriers to care. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related discipline is essential. An active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a proven ability to complete client assessments and treatment plans in a timely manner. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients. Preferred Experience Two or more years of experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy. Experience in utilizing telehealth platforms for client consultations and therapy sessions. Demonstrated ability to work with children, adolescents, and families in a clinical setting. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
