Payroll Coordinator

Payroll and A/PCompiles hours worked from time sheets and other recordsInput forms, enters data into computer files, and submits to payroll vendorReviews wages computed and corrects errors for payroll accuracyMonitors missed punches, missed meal breaks, and interrupted meal periods and reports to Administrator and ManagersDaily - DHPPD and overtime reports, DHPPD formsDistributes paychecksProcesses workers’ compensation claims, assuring claims are promptly reported and paperwork is completed in a timely manner, work with DSDPerforms other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, creating folders, photocopying, collating, etcPerforms other duties as assigned by the AdministratorPrepare payroll checks in accordance with current pay periods to assure that employee checks are received on a timely basisPerforms all daily, weekly, and pay period close responsibilities related to payroll processingManages payroll variables such as shift differentials, overtime, on call, employee status, etc. (if applicable)Ensures employee personnel files are complete and employee information are kept confidential; Maintains confidentiality of records, contact and information.Compile all Accounts Payable (Invoices) for payment submissionAssist during DSD orientation. Orientation packet and onboarding must be completed before the end of day 2.Enroll new staff to time clockPerform other duties as assigned or requested to meet the facility’s needs.QualificationsSkilled nursing or healthcare related field experience, preferred.Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationship with staff, physicians, and consultantsCurrent knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations, a plusStrong personal organization and time management ability with attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll application systems.Strong understanding of payroll accounting and payroll best practices.Strong work ethic and team player with excellent communication skills.Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures fully and consistently.Must have strong detail orientation and high accuracy level. #J-18808-Ljbffr Newhall Avenue Healthcare Center Llc
