Shift: 1st Shift (Mornings, 5:30AM-9:30AM) Candidates will need to be available to work rotating weekends and holidays. Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL Pay Rate: $18.25 + Shift Differential and Weekend Pay.Job Responsibilities:Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipesSets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipmentPrepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.Safely uses a variety of utensils including knivesProperly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and proceduresCleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensilsMaintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitationEnsures security of company assetsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.Qualifications:Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferredProven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storageRequired to obtain food safety certification(s)Demonstrates basic math and counting skillsDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
