Position Summary Sentara Family & Internal Medicine Physician is now hiring a full-time Patient Care Specialist in Edenton, NC ! Overview As a Patient Care Specialist with Sentara Healthcare, you will provide non-clinical support within a physician's office and ensure an excellent patient experience by performing a variety of complex administrative tasks to support patient care delivery. Primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, and answering patient questions. The base pay range for full-time employment is $21.69 - $32.44 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
