Title : Solidworks Drafter Designer
Location : Elk Grove Village, IL
Hire Type : Contract
Compensation : $30/hr to $35/hr based on experience

Seeking a SolidWorks Drafter Designer to support an engineering team on a 1+ year contract assignment. The designer will create and modify 3D models, detailed drawings, assemblies, and BOMs using SolidWorks, while working closely with engineers and other designers to support product development and engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Create and revise 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings in SolidWorks
• Develop and update BOMs and engineering documentation
• Assist engineers with design changes and product development
• Review drawings for accuracy and manufacturability
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of SolidWorks design experience preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T
• Associate’s degree or technical education in Mechanical Design/Engineering preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Manufacturing or packaging equipment experience is a plus
