Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU Neuro

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Neurological Intensive Care Unit
• Float to other ICUs, Med/Surg Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed
• Adhere to weekend requirements of 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Maintain compliance with holiday scheduling requirements, including designated holidays
• Accurately document patient care and assessments using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented on candidate profile
• Must pass Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
• Two supervisory references required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or similar critical care setting
• Familiarity with progressive care and step-down unit workflows
