Compliance Specialist 6 days ago Requisition ID: 2074 Make an Impact as a Compliance Specialist The Compliance Specialist serves as a team member of the Compliance unit. This position is responsible for ensuring that all records in Child Care Assistance are in compliance with the monitoring standards established by our funding sources. Works in a paperless environment. Will utilize the approved monitoring tool to track and trend error types and individual error rate for quality improvement and training. Works as a team to develop best practices and reduce the error rate. Informs and works alongside staff to provide guidance in a positive and growth-producing manner. Will provide monthly monitoring data to the Manager. Other duties as assigned. Educationand Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Related experience may be substituted on a year for year basis up to four years. Experience in workforce development programs,child caresubsidy or training in monitoring for contract compliance, mathematical accuracy, or internal control compliance. Ability to effectively present information and strong analytical skills. Ability to clearly present information in written or oral form; write clearly and effectively present ideas to document activities and to read and interpret a variety of written information. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to stay focused on task. Must have ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Must promote a positive work environment; Prompt and regular attendance required.
