Senior Software Engineer, Android: Leading the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing features in the Tinder App with an accent on building compelling in-app experiences. Focus on collaborating cross-functionally with engineers, product managers and designers to influence the roadmap and product development of Tinder’s App and services. Location: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. This position is located in Ghent Belgium. What you will do Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing features in the Tinder App. Build new compelling in-app experiences that will reach millions of users globally. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers and designers to influence the roadmap and product development of Tinder’s App and services. Create and maintain internal shared frameworks and libraries. Mentor, collaborate, and learn with innovative and passionate team members Requirements 5+ years of professional experience building native Android applications Significant experience building applications in Kotlin Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose A strong software architect well versed in design patterns Understanding of the value of Dependency Injection and has implemented Dagger Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
