Investment Associate

Seeking experienced Associate to join investment team specialized in acquiring minority equity stakes in private markets firms. The ideal candidate will have served in an investment banking analyst/associate program and/or have prior private equity deal team experience. Responsibilities Associates are key members of the investment team working directly with senior investment professionals, responsible for financial modeling and underwriting analysis for new investments. Construct detailed financial models, performing industry and competitive analysis, and conducting investment or financial analysis to complete due diligence requests Support transaction documentation, including term sheets/LOIs, purchase agreements, investor rights agreements and amended LPAs. Support reporting documentation and presentations, including transaction case studies and investment committee memorandums (initial and final). Leading key analysis work-streams of prospective fund commitments, co-investments, and secondary investments, including financial modelling, industry research, operational analysis, fund manager analysis and track record evaluation Support and play integral role in initial and confirmatory transaction due diligence processes. Support monitoring and periodic valuations on existing investments. Gather and synthesize market intelligence through a variety of market data, subscriptions, and news services. Other Detailed financial analysis including LBO modeling Ad-hoc financial analysis for new transactions and existing portfolio companies Preparation of periodic reporting and meeting materials Monitoring of US deal flow, and market research on potentially actionable opportunities Applying critical thinking and judgement in the review of investment opportunities Working with senior and junior deal team members to develop investment structures and investment recommendations #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Company
