Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent heavy civil field experience. 3 to 5 years of heavy civil construction experience in scheduling, project management, or a combination of both. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Critical Path Method schedules for bridges, highways, rail, transit, or similar heavy civil infrastructure projects. Strong working knowledge of Critical Path Method scheduling. Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 and P6 Visualizer. Ability to independently build detailed bid and baseline schedules in Primavera P6. Experience developing Work Breakdown Structures, activity coding, calendars, schedule logic, and activity durations. Ability to interpret blueprints, construction plans, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation. Ability to identify schedule-related requirements and constraints, including milestones, phasing, work-hour restrictions, seasonal restrictions, permits, utility dates, right-of-way dates, and liquidated damages. Experience performing schedule quality checks, including reviews of logic, open ends, constraints, lags, negative float, and DCMA-style metrics. Experience leading schedule updates and producing two- to four-week look-ahead schedules. Ability to prepare monthly schedule update submissions, including schedule comparisons, change logs, critical path reviews, float analysis, and update narratives. Demonstrated ability to maintain complete and accurate project data. Ability to analyze project progress, identify schedule variances, anticipate potential impacts, and advise project teams accordingly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly present schedule information to project teams, executives, clients, and project owners. Strong collaboration, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.

Experience supporting alternative delivery partnerships, public-private partnerships, or design-build projects. Working knowledge of Trimble TILOS. Experience developing KMZ or Google Earth site models. Experience creating work-zone graphics to support construction phasing and means-and-methods discussions. Experience validating estimating quantities, activity durations, and construction production-rate assumptions. Experience preparing and presenting pursuit schedules, proposal exhibits, and other client-facing schedule materials. Experience leading project kickoff and schedule-development meetings. Experience preparing baseline schedule narratives and complete owner-submittal packages. Experience responding directly to owner schedule-review comments. Time impact analysis experience. Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Project Scheduler for a top heavy civil infrastructure and construction client. This candidate will be an experienced member of the Scheduling and Controls team responsible for independently developing, analyzing, and maintaining Critical Path Method schedules for complex infrastructure projects, including bridges, highways, rail, and transit. The Project Scheduler will build detailed bid and baseline schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, lead schedule-development meetings, manage recurring updates and reporting, prepare look-ahead schedules, analyze critical path and float, and present schedule information to project teams, executives, clients, and owners. This position will also identify potential schedule risks, develop mitigation strategies, prepare time impact analyses and recovery schedules, support contract and claims matters, and mentor entry-level scheduling professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong heavy civil construction knowledge, demonstrated P6 proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to take full ownership of assigned project schedules while collaborating closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents.
