Security Shift SupervisorOversees security operations during assigned shifts, supervising and supporting officers to ensure safety, service, and compliance with site requirements.You will conduct the following responsibilities, upholding Tarian's commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.Implement and oversee security operations at individual facilities - including responsibilities for day-to-day supervision, motivation, coaching and training of our Officers on site.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or G.E.DPrevious security experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certificationsValid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian's driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).Employment Verification For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment (such as a pay stubs or W-2s).Preferred Qualifications of the Security Shift Supervisor:Previous experience training and overseeing staffTASER Qualifications:Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a TASER position and annually thereafterAbility to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASERAbility to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructorand/or Tarian.Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian's Taser PolicyPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTWork hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
