Job TitlePlasma Donation Center ManagerJob DescriptionAbout the role: Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. How you will contribute: · You will monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training · You will review Quality Control Records · You will coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process · You will manage the production area, motivate employees to meet their performance goals and comply with company quality standards and procedures · You will consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns · You will counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement What you bring to Takeda: · High School Diploma or equivalent · Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification · Frequent bending and reaching. Requires ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs. · Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance · Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, prolonged glove wear is required What Takeda can offer you: Every day at Takeda, we feel good knowing that what we do helps improve the lives of patients with rare diseases.
