Principal Data Analyst

Lead Consumer Research Partner with merchants and product developers to define business questions and research objectives Select the most appropriate qualitative and quantitative methodologies to answer complex business challenges Independently design, program, execute, analyze, and report consumer research studies Ensure research quality through strong research design, questionnaire development, sampling, and statistical rigor Apply Advanced Consumer Research Methodologies Independently analyze and interpret statistical outputs and translate findings into actionable business recommendations Build compelling, executive-ready stories that simplify complex research into strategic recommendations Present findings to merchants, product developers, and senior leadership Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve research quality, efficiency, and speed-to-insight Champion the voice of the Member across the product development lifecycle Requirements Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field Strong business acumen with curiosity about Members, merchandising, and consumer behavior Experience leading end-to-end consumer insights or market research Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research with the ability to apply the right methodology Ability to synthesize data into strategic business recommendations Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills Experience influencing without authority and managing multiple priorities Proficiency with AI tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and consumer research platforms Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in consumer research methodologies, data analysis, and statistical interpretation to drive strategic business recommendations.
