Senior Java Developer with E-Commerce /Springfield, MO / ONLY LOCALS

Position : Sr. Java Developer

Location : Springfield, MO ( Onsite )
Need ONLY LOCALS

Java 21 - resume references Java 8 features only, with no evidence of Java 11/17/21.
Azure infrastructure - only Azure OpenAI Service is mentioned; no AKS, Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, or Entra ID exposure.
Retail e-commerce - experience is insurance/banking (Discovery Ltd, Barclays, DataVision); no consumer-facing storefront patterns (cart, checkout, hot SKU, payment idempotency).
Redis / caching depth - not mentioned in the profile.

* Java 21 (not Java 8/11/17) and Spring Boot 3.x - (mandatory)

* Azure hands-on experience

* Strong Kafka design ownership (mandatory) not just consumer-role usage; must demonstrate scaling, partitioning strategy, resiliency patterns, DLQ handling

* Consumer-facing retail e-commerce (mandatory) - cart, checkout, catalog, hot SKU / inventory contention, payment idempotency

* MongoDB and Redis - MongoDB is good to have; for Redis, we need candidates who have implemented caching with real performance tuning, not just theoretical knowledge
