Pharmacy Floor Technician – Part-TimeLocation: Pharmscript - 709 Castle Heights Ct, Lebanon, TN 37087 Pay Rate: $21/hr (Paid Weekly) Schedule: See Below Hours: Approximately 20–28 hours per week Schedule: Weekends required; occasional evening/2nd-shift availability required Weekend Hours: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM Evening Hours: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Allmed Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision Insurance and 401(k) Contract: 08/24/2026 to 11/21/2026 Interview: One in-person interviewPosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and preparing prescription orders for final verification by a pharmacist. The ideal candidate is accurate, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a pharmacy team.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.Pick and retrieve medications from shelving, prepack racks, and designated storage areas.Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy.Prepare completed prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.Assist with prepacking frequently ordered medications, labeling products, and storing them appropriately.Manually package medications, materials, and pharmacy products.Process returned medications and assist with proper recycling or disposal procedures.Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan correctly or presents a potential discrepancy.Maintain designated workstations and replenish necessary supplies.Follow all applicable federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA requirements.Follow departmental policies related to safety, attendance, quality, and dress code.Assist with additional pharmacy duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Current, clear, and active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.Ability to work at a moderate production pace while maintaining accuracy.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.Availability to work required weekend and evening shifts.Preferred QualificationsPrevious pharmacy technician experience.Experience in a high-volume pharmacy or production environment.Familiarity with prescription processing, medication packaging, labeling, and scanning.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.Strong finger dexterity for operating pharmacy and office equipment.Ability to read fine print, medication labels, and other written information.Adequate close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.Ability to hear normal voice sounds.Ability to work extended hours when required by business needs.This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20–28 hours per week.
