We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes The Fuel Settlements Operational Accounting team performs end-to-end accounting and analysis for all fuel supply with various transportation modes, including pipeline, marine, truck, and rail, while ensuring accurate cost of sales and revenue reconciliation. This team is also responsible for bulk sales invoicing, truck transportation, RINS, broker fees, marine charter fees and billing, and the essential duties of this position are designed to ensure that all activities are captured accurately in the general ledger Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. • Manages daily processes for supplier and customer accounts, and high-volume invoice queues for a portfolio of assigned customers or vendors
• Resolves issues accurately and with a sense of urgency
• Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems
• Maintains productive relationships with all counterparties through proactive, effective communication
• Analyzes financial results effectively, providing supporting details and insights that contribute to the company's success
• Exhibits a record of sustained improvement in key metrics and contributes to the success of the overall team
