About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President (SVP) to take the helm of a major business unit with a focus on supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, particularly VBA and NCA. The SVP will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including business unit leadership, ensuring delivery and operational excellence, fostering client relationships, and driving growth strategy. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in managing large federal programs, ideally with a connection to the VA, and a strong background in executive client engagement. The successful candidate will be expected to lead with an enterprise mindset, prioritizing the outcomes for Veterans and the VA, and will be responsible for full P&L ownership, including financial and P&L leadership. Applicants for the SVP position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of senior leadership experience, with a preference for those who have direct experience with VA-related programs. The role requires a leader with exceptional communication, decision-making, and financial acumen, capable of driving growth, leading captures, and shaping client strategy. The SVP will also be responsible for executive and organizational leadership, including the development and accountability of senior program leaders. A key aspect of the role is enterprise collaboration, and the ideal candidate will have a background in federal modernization, digital transformation, or mission-critical delivery. The position is pivotal in maintaining the company's reputation as a reliable mission partner and in ensuring that financial choices align with the company's values and do not compromise the quality of delivery.
