A certified Special Education Teacher is needed to deliver services across multiple locations, actively engaging with a caseload of 30 to 40 students. This full-time position extends through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year, providing stability and the chance to make a lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate (SPED/Learning Disability Teacher-C)
• Experience conducting special education evaluations
• Familiarity with elementary-age students and differentiated instructional strategies
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple school settings throughout the week
• NJ Tech Cert required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support for elementary students with learning disabilities
• Manage and track progress for a caseload of 30 to 40 students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to IEP development
• Partner with general education staff, families, and other specialists to promote student success
• Travel between designated school sites as assigned, with a home base at Colonial Middle School (services not rendered at this site)
• Participate in professional meetings, maintain compliance with all relevant state and district regulations, and keep accurate records

This role features a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am to 4:00pm, offering a stable routine throughout the academic year.
