Description: The care provided by the Respiratory Care Services Department includes services involving the evaluation of cardiopulmonary function. The treatment of cardiopulmonary impairment is part of this role. The assessment of treatment effectiveness is essential. Healthcare professionals care for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities within the cardiopulmonary system. Respiratory Care Practitioners attend high-risk deliveries to manage the neonate's airway according to established protocols. They are responsible for the patient's airway during resuscitations. Ventilatory care is provided in various settings such as the Emergency Department and ICU. All care is supervised by a licensed physician. Patient care decisions are made based on assessment data and diagnostic information. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating within the facility may be necessary as needed. Compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time. The candidate is expected to work if holidays fall within the assignment period. Full compliance is required to ensure timely onboarding. Certified travel experience is preferred. Preferred charting system experience includes knowledge of Epic. The ability to interpret arterial blood gases is required. Candidates must have experience with various forms of ventilatory support.
