Location: Napa Valley Area, CA Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per year (DOE) + Benefits

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will be the heartbeat of the kitchen, bridging the gap between creative vision and flawless execution. You will lead a talented team in a high-volume setting, ensuring every dish that leaves the pass is camera-ready and packed with the vibrant flavors of Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

• High-Volume Leadership: Confidently manage kitchen operations during peak services, maintaining composure and quality under pressure.

• Culinary Excellence: Work intimately with local Napa produce and fresh, seasonal ingredients to execute a premier Italian-inspired menu.

• Team Mentorship: Lead, train, and inspire line cooks and prep teams, fostering a culture of growth, discipline, and respect.

• Operational Standards: Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.

• Cost Management: Assist with inventory, labor costs, and waste reduction without compromising the integrity of the guest experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook in a high-volume, upscale environment.

• Strong communication skills and a "lead-by-example" management style.

• A formal culinary degree is a plus, but a strong portfolio and solid references are essential.

• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays in the beautiful Napa Valley.
