Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with extensive experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care within an Orthopedic/Surgical unit. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and patient safety within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Shift Details

Night shift, 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Orthopedic/Surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions based on clinical findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in orientation and training sessions, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience required.
• A valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license must be held at the time of application.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to the start date.
• One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.

Additional Information

Candidates must successfully complete mandatory training and assessments during orientation. A satisfactory score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations is essential for ongoing employment.
