Our practices are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care close to home while building lasting relationships with the patients and communities we serve.A Medical Assistant who excels in this role:Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.Documents patient care given.Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.Maintains examination areas.Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Shoals also operates the region's only in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W.
