Information Technology Project Coordinator

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of software and application-focused projects. This role will partner closely with Project Managers, business stakeholders, developers, analysts, and vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule, risks are tracked, and key deliverables are completed. The ideal candidate has experience coordinating application development, system implementation, integration, or software enhancement projects within a fast-paced IT environment. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery Support multiple software and application projects from initiation through implementation. Coordinate project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across technical and business teams. Organize and facilitate project meetings, daily standups, sprint ceremonies, workshops, and stakeholder reviews. Maintain project plans, action item logs, RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions), and status reports. Track project progress and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion. Stakeholder Communication Serve as a liaison between project teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and IT leadership. Prepare meeting agendas, document meeting notes, and distribute project communications. Provide regular project status updates and escalate risks or roadblocks as needed. Ensure alignment between business requirements and project deliverables. Documentation & Reporting Maintain project documentation, process flows, requirements artifacts, and project repositories. Coordinate testing activities, UAT schedules, and release readiness efforts. Assist with change management, release communications, and implementation planning. Track key project metrics and support executive reporting needs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience coordinating IT projects, software implementations, or application development initiatives. Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously in a PMO or IT organization. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools. Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise applications, system integrations, SaaS implementations, or custom software development projects. Familiarity with release management, change management, and testing coordination. Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow. CAPM, PMP, CSM, or related project management certification.
