Store Manager

We are hiring an experienced Welding Supply Store Manager to lead operations at our busy retail welding supply location. This position is ideal for a knowledgeable leader with experience in welding equipment, industrial gas sales, and retail store management. If you have a background in welding supplies, compressed gases, inventory control, and customer service, we want to hear from you. As Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, maintain inventory, support sales growth, and ensure excellent service for customers purchasing welding supplies, welding machines, safety equipment, and industrial gases. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the welding supply store, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction Supervise, train, and motivate store employees to meet sales and performance goals Drive retail sales of welding supplies, welding equipment, industrial gases, safety products, and related accessories Build and maintain strong customer relationships with contractors, welders, fabricators, and industrial clients Assist customers with product selection using expert knowledge of welding equipment and gas applications Provide accurate pricing, product availability, and delivery information Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization Manage industrial gas cylinder inventory, compliance, and safe handling procedures Process sales transactions, payments, daily cash balancing, and bank deposits accurately Maintain store safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and compressed gas regulations Requirements Previous experience in welding supplies, welding equipment, and industrial gas sales Prior retail management, store manager, or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) Solid understanding of welding codes and safety regulations Strong knowledge of welding machines, consumables, cylinders, regulators, and safety equipment Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment Strong inventory control and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications Experience in welding distribution, industrial supply, or fabrication sales preferred Knowledge of compressed gas safety regulations is a plus AWS certification or similar credentials #J-18808-Ljbffr Hofmann's Supply
