Staff Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist | Outpatient & Integrated Behavioral Health Employment Type: Full-Time Join a Mission-Driven Integrated Care Team We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare organization dedicated to improving the mental and physical well-being of individuals and families throughout the community. This position offers the opportunity to work within an integrated behavioral health model alongside primary care providers, therapists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care. As a Psychiatrist, you will diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions affecting children, adolescents, and adults while developing individualized treatment plans that promote long‑term wellness and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish accurate diagnoses. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including medication management. Provide care for pediatric and adult patients with a variety of psychiatric conditions. Coordinate care with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and community agencies. Determine the need for psychiatric hospitalization and coordinate admissions when appropriate. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes. Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR). Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and care planning. Provide consultation and clinical guidance to nursing staff and behavioral health teams. Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and students as needed. Participate in shared on‑call coverage for behavioral health crises. Deliver telepsychiatry services when appropriate. Support organizational initiatives focused on quality improvement, patient‑centered care, and integrated healthcare delivery. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in Oklahoma. Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and collaborative skills. Passion for serving diverse patient populations in a community‑based setting.
