QC Inspector 2 - AXI- Swing Shift Full-Time Manual Labor Newark, CA, US Salary: $18.00 To $27.00 Hourly Job Summary The QC Inspector – AXI/5DX operates the AXI machine, performs quality inspections using AXI, and reports to the Quality Engineering Manager. The role is based in Newark, CA. Responsibilities Operate the AXI machine and support line activities to ensure accurate and consistent detection of component placement and solder joint defects. Perform AXI related quality inspection tasks, including inspecting components, feature chips, ICs, joints, and connectors using magnification aids to meet IPC-A-610 standards; read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, MPI, ECN, deviations, and related manufacturing documentation; load AXI programs as instructed; and inspect SMT paste and component placement. Support engineers and production operators with equipment training, data collection, system evaluations, and improvement initiatives such as 5S. Other duties related to AXI support and production as assigned. Required Education and Experience Minimum 3 years of experience operating AXI equipment. High School Diploma.
