Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 05:45 PM – 06:00 AM Tue 05:45 PM – 06:00 AM Wed 05:45 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and/or control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies and assigned post responsibilities. Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A valid firearms permit is preferred. An armed guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
