Lab Technician

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Reports To: Quality Assurance Supervisor/General Manager

Job Description:

Objective: A quality assurance technician’s primary responsibly is to assure that all products are produced in accordance with good manufacturing practices, meeting all company, local, state, and federal regulations

Job Function:

• Perform testing on bulk and bagged ingredients.

Food Safety Function:

• Verify raw and finished product meets specification
• Understand all laboratory procedures
• Report any off odors, insects, and rodent activities
• Compliance of GMPs and the food safety plan

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to read and write English.
• Strong skill set in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Maintain a professional attitude.
• Dependable.
• The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in concerns of employees and financial files.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritize.
