Senior Accountant

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our North America accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. You will be a primary owner of key accounting responsibilities associated with the monthly and quarterly close and with the company's internal and external reporting requirements. Areas of coverage include debt, leases, commissions, accruals, and other core balance sheet and P&L accounts. This is a high-impact position offering excellent exposure across a global, fast-paced technology business, based in our Lexington, MA office on a hybrid schedule. Areas of coverage include debt, leases, commissions, accruals, and other core balance sheet and P&L accounts. What You’ll Do Accounting Close & Reporting Provide day-to-day accounting operations support including the preparation of journal entries and monthly account reconciliations Key member in the monthly close process, working closely with multiple teams to communicate, report, and resolve month-end close matters Support the analytics process, including preparing, reviewing, and coordinating variance analysis for balance sheet and P&L accounts Prepare and provide additional analyses for internal management and financial reporting Audit & Compliance Prepare and review schedules in support of external audit requirements Maintain accurate, well-documented accounting records and support ongoing improvement of internal controls as processes, systems, and policies evolve Guidance & Standardization Work with the Accounting Manager on various matters for guidance and implementation of proper accounting treatment Participate in global standardization efforts for policies, procedures, and account reconciliations Partner with FP&A to ensure global expenses are properly booked and allocated to the correct cost centers and entities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Tax, HR, Payroll and Sales Operations to resolve issues, implement new processes, and ensure accurate financial records. Process Improvement & Team Development Contribute to process improvements based on broad accounting and business knowledge Provide critical support and guidance to more junior members of the team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in daily operational and accounting tasks Motivate, engage, and provide support to other team members as needed What You’ll Bring: BS in Accounting; CPA is desirable 5+ years of related accounting experience Software or other technology industry experience preferred Strong knowledge and experience with US GAAP Advanced Excel skills as well as excellent organizational skills Experience with NetSuite is preferred. FloQast, Navan, and Xactly experience a plus Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and automate financial processes Skills & Attributes Self-starter with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on various responsibilities Strong analytical, documentation, and oral communication skills Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently, and contribute as a strong team player Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Organized and thorough, with a desire for continuous improvement Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements Join our Finance team to accelerate your career journey. The base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $126,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills.
