Senior Accountant

A rapidly growing financial services company is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to its expanding team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will be heavily involved in accounting, financial reporting, and investment-related activity across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger Perform account and marketable securities reconciliations Support capital calls, distributions, and investment activity Assist with quarterly valuation adjustments Prepare financial statements and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes Review K-1s and other investment-related documentation Support accounting across multiple entities Help improve and automate accounting and reporting processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3+ years of accounting experience preferred Public accounting or audit experience strongly preferred; Big 4 is a plus CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus Experience within financial services, private equity, investments, or fund accounting is helpful Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing financial services organization with exposure to sophisticated investments, real estate, financial reporting, and a variety of investment-related activity.
