Aviation Readiness - Clearance Required

OverviewLMI is seeking a skilled Aviation Readiness Consultant to support Army logistics strategic readiness by conducting readiness analyses, strategic planning, enterprise integration, executive decision support, and organizational assessments. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.ResponsibilitiesSupport Army and Aviation logistics strategic readiness analysis through planning, assessment, analysis, and enterprise integration activities.Conduct research and analysis to evaluate readiness trends, strategic initiatives, organizational performance, and emerging issues.Collect, consolidate, and analyze information from multiple sources to support readiness assessments and executive decision making.Develop executive-ready briefings, reports, decision papers, presentations, and strategic communications supporting Army logistics leadership.Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic readiness initiatives, plans, and organizational priorities.Coordinate readiness activities, recommendations, and strategic initiatives across multiple Army organizations and stakeholders.Assess organizational performance, identify capability gaps, and recommend solutions that improve readiness and operational effectiveness.Facilitate strategic planning sessions, working groups, and collaborative meetings while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions.Synthesize complex operational and analytical information into actionable recommendations that improve enterprise readiness and mission performance.Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to enhance readiness visibility and leadership decision making.Identify opportunities to improve Army logistics readiness through business process improvement, workflow optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support policy development, strategic planning, organizational assessments, and execution of enterprise initiatives, as required.Support business development activities, including market research, proposal support, solution development, and client engagement, as required.Perform additional consulting, analytical, and project support activities as assigned.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Political Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.Ten plus years of professional experience supporting Army logistics, strategic readiness, DoD, or other complex Government organizations.Experience conducting readiness assessments, strategic planning, operational analysis, or organizational evaluations.Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using spreadsheets, databases, and collaboration tools.Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, actionable recommendations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams.Self-directed, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.Available for occasional travel.This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.DESIRED SKILLSAdvanced degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related discipline.More than 10 years of experience supporting Army logistics strategic readiness, Aviation logistics or other DoD organizations.Experience supporting headquarters-level strategic planning, readiness assessments, enterprise integration, or organizational governance.Experience developing readiness dashboards, performance metrics, executive reporting, or data visualization products.Familiarity with business process improvement, workflow modernization, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.Experience facilitating strategic planning sessions, cross-functional working groups, and stakeholder engagements.Excellent research, writing, briefing, and staff coordination skills.#LI-SH1Target salary range: $76390.24-$130605.48.
