Location: Austin, TX
Work Model: Hybrid flexibility
Compensation: $170K–$200K base + performance incentives
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

The Role

Lead the national voice of a Veteran-led firm that's already built the credibility — and now wants to scale how the brand shows up. You'll own brand strategy, earned media, executive visibility, and events across every public-facing channel.

What You'll Own

• Brand and communications strategy across every public-facing channel
• Earned media and executive visibility — press, interviews, and thought leadership tied to Veterans issues, policy, and firm milestones
• High-profile events, sponsorships, and community engagements that earn trust, not just visibility
• The brand, PR, events, and content team — hire, mentor, hold the standard
• Cross-functional partnership with marketing, legal, operations, and the exec team

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in brand, communications, or PR leadership
• Built or scaled a brand where trust and credibility carried real weight
• A portfolio with judgment across web, video, campaigns, and storytelling
• Fluency in military culture and the Veterans community

Bonus

• Military background or Veteran status
• Legal services, advocacy, or mission-driven sector experience
• Existing national media relationships in the Veterans space
