Cyber Products - Product Manager

Our software-based cyber resiliency solutions have been field-deployed since 2009, protecting the confidentiality and integrity of data and applications on Department of War weapon systems and platforms. Our threat model assumes adversaries have gained escalated privileges and bypassed traditional security controls-we build the last line of defense.

Position Overview

Nightwing is seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive execution and coordination in support of our Cyber Products portfolio. This is a unique, high-impact role that combines three critical functions: coordinating product development priorities based on customer and market demands, program execution across multiple deployments, and active support of business development and sales activities for both organic growth and new business capture.

The ideal candidate will serve as the operational hub between our technical teams, customers, business development, and leadership. This position ensures customer feedback and market intelligence directly inform product development priorities, delivers flawless program execution, and drives revenue growth through direct customer engagement and strategic partnerships.

This role demands someone who can seamlessly shift between cross-functional coordination, hands-on program management, and customer-facing sales support, all while maintaining deep technical credibility in the cyber domain.

Key Responsibilities

Product Coordination & Prioritization

• Coordinate across engineering, business development, and customer-facing teams to gather and synthesize customer requirements and market demands

• Translate customer needs and feedback into clear, actionable product development priorities for engineering teams

• Act as the primary voice of the customer to product development, ensuring products meet evolving operational needs

• Facilitate prioritization decisions by providing market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer urgency assessments

• Develop compelling product messaging and positioning materials for both technical users and executive decision-makers

Program Execution & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end program management for cyber product deployments across multiple customer sites and contracts

• Serve as primary customer point of contact throughout program lifecycle

• Manage program resources, schedules, budgets, and priorities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

• Coordinate with technical team and program functional support organizations including contracts, finance, security, and supply chain

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues

Business Development & Sales Support

• Generate and develop sales leads within DoD, Intelligence Community, and federal civilian markets

• Conduct customer meetings, technical demonstrations, and product presentations to prospective customers

• Support capture efforts for new business opportunities by providing technical expertise and product insights

• Establish and expand relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators

• Gather and document market feedback to inform pricing decisions

• Leverage professional network to create new opportunities and accelerate sales cycles

Required Qualifications

Clearance & Citizenship

• Eligibility to obtain Top Secret / SCI security clearance

• U.S. Citizenship required

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in cybersecurity domain

Experience

• 8+ years of combined experience in product management, program management, or technical sales within the cybersecurity domain

• Minimum 5 years managing government programs or delivering products to government customers

• Proven track record supporting DoD customers

• Experience positioning highly technical cyber products to both technical practitioners and program decision-makers

• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contracting processes

• Experience coordinating across functional support organizations (engineering, contracts, finance, security, etc.)

• Familiarity with cyber frameworks including Risk Management Framework, Cyber Survivability Endorsement, Zero Trust, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and related standards

Core Competencies

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels

• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

• Strong coordination and facilitation skills with experience working across multiple functional organizations

• Ability to synthesize diverse inputs (customer feedback, market trends, technical constraints) into clear priorities

• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to balance competing priorities and navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Current SECRET or Top Secret Security Clearance with eligibility for SCI

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification

• 8+ years of combined experience in product management within the cybersecurity domain

• Direct experience with government sales cycles and capture processes

• Track record meeting or exceeding booking, sales, profit metrics

• Established professional network within target customer agencies

• Experience with channel/partner sales models

Work Environment & Travel

• Location: Huntsville, AL;

• Travel: Up to 50% travel may be required for customer meetings, program reviews, demonstrations, and conferences
