Production Technician

Position: Production Technician Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 12+ Months Contract Start Time: 6:00 AM | End Time: 2:30 PM | Total Hours/Week: 40.00 Primary Responsibilities Learn to perform all assigned processes in vialing and packaging. Perform all material movement in Vialing and Packaging. Maintain and sustain Vialing and Packaging KANBAN materials. Operate and maintain production equipment as assigned. Complete appropriate paperwork and work order SAP transaction in an accurate, neat, and timely manner. Cleans laboratory glassware using washers, dryers, and autoclaves. Maintain and calibrate assigned equipment per schedule. Identify and address process issues affecting production. Perform department self-audits. Keep abreast of the basic requirements for compliance. Maintain current regulatory training. Participate in process improvements and bring compliance questions/issues to the attention of management. Follow client Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures. Takes responsibility for safety in immediate work area. Participate in EH&S programs. Notify supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions or unsafe work practices. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment. Perform other related duties and assignments as required. Knowledge and Skills Basic math skills Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures. Knowledge of general laboratory safety. Effective interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
