Litigation Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Miami law firm seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling a sophisticated caseload. What You’ll Do Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial Manage and organize complex case files and litigation documents Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents Review, organize, and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials Prepare chronologies, case summaries, deposition summaries, and trial materials Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, expert meetings, and trial logistics Maintain litigation calendars and monitor critical deadlines Prepare exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, and courtroom materials Perform electronic filings in state and federal courts Communicate with clients, experts, healthcare providers, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors What We’re Looking For 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience Prior experience supporting medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, general liability, transportation/trucking, or other complex litigation matters Recent trial experience is required Strong understanding of Florida court procedures, deadlines, and e-filing requirements Experience managing large case files and document-intensive matters Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation document management platforms Experience with eDiscovery tools is a plus Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees 401(k) with profit‑sharing contributions Generous PTO program Paid parking or transportation allowance If you’re a detail-oriented litigation paralegal who enjoys trial work and wants to join a stable, highly respected firm with a supportive team environment, we’d love to hear from you.
