Municipal Associate - Grill and Beverage Cart Attendant

Job Title

Coordinates and performs food service activities of the Fireside Grill.

• Maintains compliance with all cooking and cleaning hygiene requirements for food service.
• Responsible for cooking food, preparing beverages, for daily operations and special events.
• Responsible for operation of beverage cart.
• Assist with restocking food and beverage storage areas.
• Assists with cleanliness of food and beverage areas and equipment.
• Responsible for POS transactions along with opening and closing procedures.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships with others.
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required plus two years related experience and/or training. Cooking experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses: Serve Safe Certification required. Valid Alabama Driver's License required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moderate to extreme heat while operating the grill. May cook and serve beverages outside during special events in various weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
