ProspectBlue seeks an entry-level Client Services Associate for our wealth management firm client in Richmond, Virginia!

ProspectBlue’s client, a highly respected wealth management firm in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a smart, outgoing, and motivated individual to join its team in an entry-level client service and administrative support role.

\n

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term career in wealth management . The ideal candidate will be a genuine “people person” who enjoys working with clients and colleagues, has a strong academic background and understanding of finance, and is eager to learn and grow within the business.

The successful candidate will initially provide front-office, administrative, and operational support while working alongside experienced Client Service Associates and financial advisors. Over time, this individual will have the opportunity to grow into a full Client Services Associate position with increasing responsibility.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Greet clients and guests at the office and provide a professional, welcoming first impression.
\n
• Serve as a professional and friendly presence at the front desk and provide coverage as needed.
\n
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and assist with general client inquiries.
\n
• Support the financial advisor and Client Service Associate teams with day-to-day administrative tasks.
\n
• Assist with maintaining and organizing client records and documentation in accordance with industry regulations.
\n
• Assist with operational projects and special assignments across the wealth management team.
\n
• Prepare client presentations and materials, including operating a binding machine and assisting with presentation assembly.
\n
• Work with spreadsheets and assist with basic data entry, tracking, and record keeping.
\n
• Learn and utilize the firm's CRM and other technology systems.
\n
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, advisors, and internal team members.
\n
• Take initiative to learn the business and progressively assume additional responsibilities.
\n

Desired Qualifications:

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree required , preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
\n
• Demonstrated interest in finance, investments, wealth management, or financial services .
\n
• Prior financial services or investment advisory experience is a plus, but not required .
\n
• Strong academic record and ability to understand and learn financial concepts.
\n
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Outgoing, personable, and comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook .
\n
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and learning new technology and CRM systems.
\n
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
\n
• Strong character, work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and build a career in wealth management .
\n
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities.

Compensation:

\n

\n

• Estimated salary range: $50,000–$60,000 per year
\n
• Salary will be dependent on prior industry experience, internships, educational background, and qualifications.
