Machine Operator/Warehouse Associate

The Machine Operator/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and efficient manufacturing of Misc. Metal goods utilizing multiple pieces of equipment. The Machine Operator is expected to produce quoted amounts of material as directed by the Plant Manager while putting safety, and quality at the highest regard. Core expectations include: exceeding customer expectations by ensuring all quality standards are met in accuracy, quality, and timeliness; operating various roll forming and CNC fabrication equipment in a safe and expeditious manner such as Plasma Table, Tube Plasma, Auto Saws; after certification, operating a forklift to load, unload, and relocate materials and goods; ensuring a clean work environment by preventing clutter and debris by implementing 6S; communicating clearly with supervisors and other team members; continuously working to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet company and customer needs; ensuring that delivery tickets/packing lists are properly noted and turned in; assisting in the maintenance of roll forming and break forming equipment; promoting a safe working environment and creating and enforcing a safety culture to ensure compliance with plant and company safety procedures and policies; and possessing excellent listening and communication skills.
