• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers to manufacture precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Perform machine setups, including tooling selection, fixture installation, and workpiece alignment
• Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify part quality
• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances throughout production runs
• Monitor machine performance and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Troubleshoot machining and dimensional issues to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment

• Minimum 4 years of CNC setup and machining experience
• At least 3 years of CNC lathe experience producing tight-tolerance parts
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience making machine offsets and process adjustments
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards
• Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and inspection processes

• 2+ years of 5-Axis CNC machining experience
• Experience working in a high-mix, precision manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with multiple CNC platforms, mills, lathes, and turning centers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and continuous improvement mindset

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Champaign,IL.
