Forklift Operator (Floater)

Job Type: Full TimeShift Available: Rotating/floating shiftCompensation: $24.00/hr Benefits Information Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Principal Accountabilities: Operating forklifts, robotic palletizing, depalletizer, stretch wrapper and all associated equipment to produce quality product Operate storage equipment and all associated equipment to store and retrieve product Correctly receive and ship product in accordance with orders Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform minor maintenance on this equipment Put Trash/Cardboard away (dispose in trash compactor/carboard bailer) Perform elevated work to retrieve stuck pallets or equipment in racks Perform periodic inventories as necessary with the support of office personnel to maintain accurate warehouse counts Perform line changeovers as needed Supply and order packaging materials as necessary to own area as well as other areas Cross train in all areas as needed Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Basic use of a computer Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice Experience operating forklift Preferred Qualifications: Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems Experience working in a production-related work Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
